The Adventures of Tintin: Volume 5

Small hardback collected volume containing the Tintin books twelve to fourteen, from The Adventures of Tintin series written by Hergé. A great gift for any Tintin collector (or Tintinologist, as they like to be known!) why not start your collection today?

The Seven Crystal Balls: Tintin, Snowy, and Haddock embark on an adventure to help the friend of Professor Calculus who is the last of seven members of a Peruvian expedition who has not been struck down by a mysterious curse. Professor Calculus is kidnapped so Tintin and Co. set off in pursuit of their friend, boarding a ship to Peru. (Story continues in Prisoners of the Sun.)

Prisoners of the Sun: Following on directly from The Seven Crystal Balls, Haddock, Snowy and Tintin are in Peru pursuing the kidnappers of Professor Calculus. Upon arrival in a remote surviving Incan settlement they are immediately captured, and, alongside Calculus, are set to be burnt at the stake for sacreligious intrusion. This time it really seems like there is no escape for our heroes!

Land of Black Gold: Investigating a supply of petrol that causes car engines to explode leads Tintin and his companions to the Middle East, where Tintin is promptly framed, arrested, and kidnapped! After escaping, Tintin meets a familiar foe, whom he is convinced is responsible for both the exploding petrol and the kidnapping of the local Emir's son, Prince Abdullah. But can he prove it?
